the roar of silence had been founded in 1990 by michael kubiak und michael kaufmann.
they started developing the musical concept of the band:
catchy melodies were combined with aesthetic harmonies, and convincing
vocals, supported by only few instruments, were the fundament of the
unique and appealing sound of the roar of silence. the compositions, mainly
to be assigned to field of rock were accentuated by elements from differend genres
such as classics, latin, and folk. thus, the roar of silence defined their unique style.
fortunately, the roar of silence published their debut-album 20 years ago and
we still have some collector items of this great album for all the fans of progressive rock.
